Serving Hand Crafted Authentic Gourmet Belgian Waffles Sara Ho, at just 25 years old, is the owner and chef of À LA WAFFLE. Having her own bakery has been a life long dream of hers and it came true on July 11, 2017 when she opened À LA WAFFLE. Infatuated with baking and desserts since age 5 , Sara would continue baking desserts over the years when she wasn’t working countless odd jobs as a waitress, secretary, intern, and being a full time student at California State University of Long Beach. After graduating from CSULB in 2015 with a BS in American Studies and a minor in Hospitality Food Service and Hotel Management, she found herself a position working at Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion restaurant as a line cook specializing in pastry. There she realized that she could make a career out of food and be a happier person doing so. She knew she had to start that bakery she had always dreamed of since she was little.
