Los Alamitos Youth Flag Football "Friday Night Lights" is a non-profit organization that was founded by Mark Broersma and Chris Ketcham in 2006.  Mark and Chris have many years of playing experience in many different sports and now volunteer a considerable amount of time coaching all youth sports in the Los Alamitos area.  Mark and Chris currently serve on the board of directors for Los Alamitos National Junior Basketball with Mark being the Chapter Director.  Their vision is to bring a high quality FUN Flag Football league to the cities of Seal Beach and Los Alamitos.  Previously kids in this area had very limited, if any, opportunities to participate in the most exciting sport in america.....Flag Football. Our league is for boys and girls of all different skill levels who are in grades K-8.  Online registration for the FALL season takes place during the month of May with practices beginning in August and games beginning in September.  Registration for the SPRING season takes place in November with practices beginning in February and games beginning in late February.  The format is a 6v6 passing league with very little contact, if any.  Ideally, we will have no more than 8 players per team.  Players play a minimum of 3 out of 4 quarters.
