<span style="font-size: medium;">The Los Alamitos Drama Department is a comprehensive theatre training program that prepares students for further study in college of theatre performance, directing/teaching, design, and technical theatre. This program is a program that allows students of all levels to participate, get involved, become better performers, students, and citizens.</span>
During the course of a single school year, students have the opportunity to:
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: medium;">participate in Main Stage or Black Box productions (up to 7 productions a year)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: medium;">be a part of AWARD-WINNING competition teams</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: medium;">participate in regional, state, and national-level festivals</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: medium;">take Master Classes with industry professionals</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: medium;">instruction in acting, directing, theatre design, and technical theatre</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: medium;">opportunities to be exposed to top college and university programs</span></li>
